Peacefully at home surrounded by the love of his family on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 of Joe Carpenter of Cornwall age 46 years. Beloved husband of Sarah (nee MacAdam) and loving father of Ashlyn and Matthew. Son of Isabel and the late Joe Carpenter and son-in-law of Joanne and Colin MacAdam. Dear brother of Betty (Sept) MacPhee, Ken Carpenter (Brad Wright), Gene Carpenter (Angela), Bill Carpenter (Kim Cameron), Norbert Carpenter (Arlene), Velvet Carpenter (Cory Levy), and brother-in-law of Gerry MacAdam (Courtney Somers) and Ben MacAdam (Niloofar Nazemzadeh). He is also lovingly remembered by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Joe was also predeceased by his grandparents Peter Carpenter and Elizabeth Chaisson. Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home for visiting hours on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral will be held on Saturday with funeral service from Central Christian Church at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in St. Alexis Parish Cemetery, Rollo Bay.
