Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family following a lengthy battle with cancer, on Tuesday, November 29, 2016, at her home in Gaskiers, S.M.B., Elizabeth "Betty" Tobin (nee Williams), aged 71 years. Predeceased by husband Robert (2012), parents Ernest and Isabelle Williams, granddaughter Stephanie Kelly, brother Edmund Williams, parents-in-law Walter and Loretta Tobin, brother-in-law Adrian Sullivan and sisters-in-law Bridget Tobin, Angela Tobin and Mercedes Tobin. Leaving to mourn her children: Cindy (Barry) Gibbons, Susan (Michael) Cahill, Bernice (Ken) Sutton, Randy (Renee) and Robert (Tina); her cherished grandchildren: Mitchell and Nathan Gibbons, Kaitlyn and Michael Cahill, Kendra and Evan Sutton and Tyler, Brandon, Justin and Jenna Tobin; brothers: Brendan Tobin, Lloyd (Noreen) Williams and John (Linda) Williams; brothers-in-law: Ferg (Uriel) Tobin, Nick (Rosemary) Tobin, Walter (Lorraine) Tobin, Jerry (Gert) Tobin, Leslie (Jessie) Tobin and Bruce (Noelle) Tobin; sisters-in-law Ruth Whelan (Willie), Joan Tobin, Helen Sullivan, Jenny (Pat) Kennedy and Joanne Halleran (Paul) and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A very special thank you is extended to her care workers and her extended family who had been there for her over the past few months. Resting at Gibbons' Funeral Home, St. Mary's, on Thursday, December 1, from 3-9 pm and Friday, December 2, 12-9 pm.
