It is with great sadness that the family of the late JULIA KEATING of Marystown announces her passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Monday, November 28th, at the age of 71. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are husband, Leo of 48 years; son, Keith (Cora-Leigh) of Lewin’s Cove; daughter, Glenda Keating (Scott Plante) of Atlanta, Georgia; sisters-in-law, Leona Lake of Marystown and Betty Mullett of Burin; brother, Gordon (Maureen) Lake of St. John’s; special niece, Patricia White (Malcolm) of St. John’s; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by parents, John & Louise Lake; son, Kenny Keating; brothers, James Lake, Patrick (Pad) Mullett & John Mullett; sister, Rosemary Lake.

The Mass of Christian Burial took place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Marystown, on Wednesday, November 30th, at 10:00 a.m. Interment followed at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Marystown.
