It is with great sadness that the family of the late William George Park announce his passing on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at his residence in McIver's at the age of 95 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 70 years Hannah (nee Lovell); children: Reg (Carol), Greta Kusu, Bud, Delores (Pat) Gambin, Wanda (Milt) Osmond, Nancy (Ernest) Reid, Jacqueline (Isadore) Gambin, Alfreda (Guy) Lovell, Peter (Christine), Sam and Darrin (Michelle); 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; sisters: Beatrice (Gerald) Blanchard, Anita (Kevin) Payne and Yvonne (Bill) LaRush; brothers: Reuben and Herbert (Mildred); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Laura and Israel Park, sisters Frances Park, Annie Blanchard and Margaret Park, brother John Park, son-in-law Imre Kusu. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue on Tuesday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 7 at 2:00 p.m. from The Anglican Church of the Epiphany in McIver's with Rev. Charlene Laing officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy no flowers by request, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
