COBBETT, Robert James – age 57, Tusket, Yarmouth Co., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at home. Born November 19, 1959 in Oshawa, Ontario, he was a son of the late Robert Cobbett and Dorothy Phyllis Robicheau. Robert, a true family-man in every sense of the word, was the owner and operator of the Hickory Hut Smoke House and Restaurant in Tusket as well as Ruffino Foods. Aside from his step-children, Robert is survived by his step-father, Wayne Robicheau, Tusket, as well as by his brothers, Kenny (Rose) Mason, Oakville, Ontario; David Mason, Mike (Shelley) Cobbett, Wayne (Joanne) Cobbett and Dwayne Robicheau, all of Tusket, and many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and the memorial service was held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, December 18 at H.M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth, Rev. A. D. “Bill” Newell officiated.
