Peacefully at Andrew’s of Charlottetown on Friday, December 16, 2016 of Sr. Joan O’Connor, Sister of the Congregation of Notre Dame age 92 years. Besides her CND community, left to mourn her loss are her brother Jim O’Connor, sister-in-law Venie O’Connor and numerous nieces and nephews. Apart from her parents Louis and Ella (Malone) O’Connor she is predeceased by her siblings Mary Hamill (Bert), Elizabeth Steele (John), Virginia O’Connor, John O’Connor, Kathleen O’Connor ( Wm. Merrick) and Noreen O"Connor (Arthur Gibson). Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Monday morning, then transferred to St. Dunstan’s Basilica for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment will take place later in the Roman Catholic Cemetery.
