Passed peacefully away at the Caribou Veterans Pavilion on Saturday, December 17, 2016, Ruby White, age 86 years. Predeceased by her spouse James White (2008); parents: Samual and Dora Granter; brother Abram Granter and cousin Hubert Granter. Leaving to mourn with fond memories her children: Gord (Kim), Karen (Brad) King, Morley (Elizabeth), Coretta White and Eric (Jennifer), seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and special friends Loretta White and Jim Sare, and a large circle of family and friends. The White family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of Masonic Park and the Caribou Veterans Pavilion. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Ave, Mount Pearl, on Sunday, December 18, 2016 and Monday, December 19, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at 11 a.m. from Barrett's Funeral Chapel.
