Paulette Claudette Dyck (nee: Legault), age 61, of Swift Current SK, passed away December 9, 2016 at The Meadows. The memorial mass was held at 1:00 pm. Saturday, December 17, 2016 from Christ the Redeemer Roman Catholic Church with Reverend Monsignor Reymundo Asis officiating. The pianist was Yolande Gorrill. The psalmist was Peggy Marshall. The readers were Martha Lesuk and Colette Chabot. The interment service will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery at a later date. Paulette is survived by her husband of 42 years, Abe; daughters, Candie (Troy) Huber and Melanie (Doug) Ries; grandchildren, Reece, Zane, Braedon, and Phoenix; brothers, Pat (Sandy) Legault, Ron Legault; sister, Gloria (Dave) Brown; brother-in-law, Willie (Donna) Dyck; sisters-in-law, Martha (Don) Lesuk, Kathy (Kirk) Severson; aunts, Marie Loverin, Pauline Bonneville, Irene (Mickey) Bourns, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Lionel and Gertrude Legault; father and mother-in-law, John and Sarah Dyck; grandmother, Alma Rouleau; brother-in-law, Henry Dyck; uncles, George Rouleau, Bob Loverin, Gerry Desharnais, Fern Bonneville; and aunt, Bernadette Desharnais. Paulette was born on April 11, 1955 in Ponteix SK. She attended school in Ponteix. She was married to Abe Dyck on November 28, 1974 in Swift Current. Paulette worked at numerous restaurants over the years and ran her own Coffee Shop from 1999-2004. Paulette loved going to bingo and the casino, spending time camping with her grandkids and suppers with the family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and loyal friend. She had a fiery personality and if you met her once, you didn't forget her. Paulette will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
