Peacefully at the Garden Home on Sunday, December 18, 2016 of Mr. James Ignatious MacDougall of Charlottetown and formerly of Springfield, N.S. age 94 years. Beloved husband of the late Florence M. (nee Wilson) MacDougall and dear father of Nancy Birch (deceased), Robert (Alma) MacDougall and David (Yevonne) MacDougall. Loving grampie to James, Lori, Thomas, Andrew, Riley, Braden, Jillian, Renee, and to six great grandchildren. He is also lovingly remembered by his sister Jenny MacDougall and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Alice (nee Floyd) and Allan MacDougall; brothers and sisters Joe, Mary, Margaret, Catherine, Frances, Claire, John, Elizabeth and Anna. Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home where the funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday at 1 p.m. Interment later in the Sherwood Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of James may be made to the Alzheimer Society of PEI.
