At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday, December 30, 2016 of Leo Peter McAdam, of Charlottetown, age 84 years. Born in Donagh, PE, he was a son of the late Frederick and Annie (nee MacEachern) McAdam. Leo will be lovingly remembered by his children Mike McAdam of Charlottetown, Joe McAdam of Charlottetown, Barbara McAdam (Gabriel Nicoletti) of Mississauga, ON, Kelly McAdam of Mississauga, ON, Donna (Grant) Tarr of Sydney, NS, Shawn (Rosemary) McAdam of Charlottetown, Lisa McAdam (Marc Gaudet) of Oakville, ON; brothers Fred (Gloria), Vince (Joan) and Merv (Ena, deceased) McAdam; sisters Gloria (Barry, deceased) Newson and Edna (Billie, deceased) MacInnis; 13 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife Winnie (nee Watts) and sister Eleanor (Hubert) Murnaghan. Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home where the funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday at 11a.m. A reception will be held in the funeral home following the service. Interment will take place at a later date in the Roman Catholic Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 6 - 9p.m. in the funeral home.
