Ruth Zeeben passed away peacefully on December 30, 2016 at Porteous Lodge with her family by her side. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Shelley Zeeben and her children Brittany, Katie and Taylor; her son Dean (Sharon) Zeeben and their children Brandon (Christine) and Jared; her siblings Lois, Merrill, Vernon, Norman and Maynard; and numerous nieces and nephews. Ruth was predeceased by her parents Cecil and Leona and her baby sister Miriam A Memorial Service for Ruth was held on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 3p.m. at First Baptist Church (401 4Th Ave N, Saskatoon, SK). The family would like to thank the staff at Porteous Lodge, the nurses, Kathy, Lori, Vilma, Beth and Karen who gave mother and myself exceptional care. Shelley would also like to thank Ashley and the aides for setting up the palliative room with the pink pig and doing everything possible to keep her and Ruth comfortable. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan (301-2550 12th ave, Regina, SK, S4P 3X1). Arrangements are entrusted to Acadia-McKague’s Funeral Centre (306.955.1600).
