Kobe Clarence Pink

Kobe Clarence Pink

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved son, Kobe Clarence Pink, 15, on Sunday, January 1, 2017.
Born in North Sydney on January 2, 2001, he was the son of George and Arlene (Marsh) Pink. Kobe was actively involved in a plumbing trade, which he attended at Memorial High School. He loved his family. His future goal was to serve in the Canadian Armed Forces. He enjoyed riding his ATV, playing his Xbox, loud speaker, and wearing new sneakers and hats. His favourite saying was he loved Canada, and he loved where he lived. Kobe will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. He was the kind of young man that anyone would be proud to call son, grandson or friend. Besides his parents, he is survived by his brothers, George Pink, Ft. McMurray, Mason Marsh, Edmonton, and little brother, Jayden Moore. Also surviving are his grandparents, Clarence and Betty Marsh, grandfather, George Pink Sr., aunts and uncles; Heather (Billy) Johnston, Blaine (Joanie) Marsh, Nicole (Glen) MacLean, Charlene (Blair) MacKinnon, Dorothy (David) MacIntyre, Lloyd (Laura Lou) Gillan, many cousins, and also his closest friends; Nick Devoe, Jeremy Buffet, Dylan Power, and Mark MacFarlane. He was predeceased by his grandmother, Joan Pink. Cremation has taken place. His family will receive visitors at J. M. Jobes Funeral Home, 635 Main St., Sydney Mines, on Thursday, January 5, 2017, from 12-2 p.m. A celebration of his life will be held at 2:30 p.m. in St. Joseph Church, Bras d’Or, with Fr. Peter McLeod officiating. Words of comfort may be forwarded to the family at www.jmjobesfuneralhome.com.
