It is with great sadness that the family of the late William Henry Wells announce his passing at the James Paton Memorial Health Centre on Thursday, January 5, 2016 at the age of 92 years. He was predeceased by his first wife Marion Wells and son Bill Wells Jr. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Emma Wells; grandsons Kenneth and Steven Wells; step-daughter Dora Butler and daughter-in-law Dora Wells. Family will be receiving friends at Stacey's Funeral Home, 60 Roe Avenue on Friday January 6, 2017 from 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday January 7, 2017 between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. Martins Anglican Cathedral on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at 12:30 p.m. officiated by Reverend Dianna Fry. Interment to take place at the Anglican cemetery Burnside, NL, on Monday, January 9 at 12 noon. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations in Williams' memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
