Muriel Joyce Swift of Kensington Ave., Stellarton passed away January 14th, 2017 in the Aberdeen Hospital Palliative Care Unit, New Glasgow.
Muriel was born February 10th, 1929 in Springhill, NS to Thomas and Gertrude (Hansen) Lorimer.
Muriel enjoyed skating and dancing but care of home and family was her prime concern. She was a member of Sharon St. John United Church, Stellarton where she served as a choir member.
She is survived by her sons John, Michael, and Donald; daughter Susan, and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband John, son Kevin, three sisters and three brothers.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or memorial service by request.
In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the Aberdeen Hospital Palliative Care Unit or Sharon St. John United Church, Stellarton.
