Ferne Nellie Brown
(December 3, 1939 - January 12, 2017)

Passed peacefully away January 12, 2017, Ferne Nellie Brown of Gambo. Leaving to mourn with fond memories are her Mother Theresa Ford, husband Donald (Sr.); Sons Donald (Jr) (Janice ) of Gambo; Wilburn (Mabel) of Gambo; Daughters Judy Stagg of Cape Freels, Shelley Boyde (Terry) of Gander, Paula Sturge (William) of Valleyfield, Gaye Philpott (Tony) of Gander, Robin Peckford (Keith) of Gambo. In-laws – Murray Wells of Gambo, Frances Ford of Gander, Hazel Stokes (Frank) of Cape Freels, Olive Saunders of Gambo, and George Brown of Gambo. Born to Henry and Theresa Ford on Dec 3, 1939. She married Donald Brown of Gambo on Dec 21, 1960. They raised seven children and were the proud grandparents to 16 grandchildren ( Dawn, Tara, Joy, Kayla, Jacinda, Tyler, Joshua, David, Janel, Darren, Travis, Genessa, Jordon, Kaleb, Amy and Ashley. Great-Grandchildren – Charles, Colby, Alyssa, Jason, Rachel, Chloe. Pre-deceased by her father Henry, Sister Joyce, Brother Martin, Son-in-Law Larry Stagg, Niece Debbie Rideout, Brother in law Melvin Saunders, Mother in law Minnie and father in law Stewart. Rested at Pritchett’s Funeral Home. Funeral Service was held at the Salvation Army Sunday January 15 at 2 PM. Interment followed. No flowers by request.
