Uola Alberta Cox
1923-2016
With profound sadness and with wonderful memories, we announce that Uola (Bunny) Cox, aged 93, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Thursday, December 15th, 2016 in Regina. Uola was born on June 27th, 1923 in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, the eldest of three children, to Murray and Mayme Bunnell. Uola was predeceased by her parents, her husband Harley, special friend Steve and grandson Cayley. Uola is survived by her children, Donna (Terry) Sylvester, Douglas (Cheryl), Sandra (Douglas) Berube, and Donald (Ann), brothers John and Raymond (Phoebe), sister-in-law Pearl, 9 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, as well as numerous cousins, nephews and nieces. Throughout her life, Mom was involved with Easter Star, The Royal Canadian Legion, and the Elks. She also enjoyed and loved gardening, sewing, playing cards, the lake cabin and family gatherings. In accordance with Mom’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private interment will follow. Arrangements are entrusted to W. J. Jones Funeral Home.
