It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our beloved son, father, brother, uncle and friend, Leon O'Reilly, at the age of 42. Predeceased by his mother Bridgette, grandparents Patrick and Marion O'Reilly (Fox Harbour), and Joseph and Margaret Maher (Culls Harbour). He leaves to mourn the love of his life daughter Amelia, father John, stepmother Gladys, sister Arlene (John Healey), stepsister Sandi (Mike), stepbrothers Dion (Jennifer) and Eddie (Jennifer), a very special uncle Joe (Cece), who took care of all the funeral arrangements from Toronto for us, along with Leon's co-workers, who were so wonderful in helping out with everything. Funeral arrangements in Newfoundland entrusted to Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia. Visitation to take place on Thursday, January 19th from 2pm to 9pm. Mass of Christian Burial to take place 10:30am on Friday, January 20th at Sacred Heart Church, Fox Harbour, followed by inurnment at Dermot McGettigan Memorial Cemetery, Southeast Placentia.
