Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Tuesday, January 17, 2017, Harvey Slade of North Harbour, aged 64 years. Predeceased by parents George and Matilda Slade; brother Norman. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Maxine of 42 years; daughter Selma Harnett (Christopher), Pouch Cove and Krista Green (Jonathan), Flat Rock; grandchildren Brandon, Brady and Austin; sisters Rosalie Rogers (Peter), Paradise and Anne Vey (Rick), Clarenville; brother Dave (Rhoda), North Harbour; and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at St. Matthew's Anglican Church, North Harbour on Thursday, January 19, 2017 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Friday, January 20, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Matthew's Anglican Church, North Harbour with interment at the Anglican Cemetery, North Harbour. In lieu of flowers, donations accepted to the family.
