STANLEY JAMES LAWRENCE
April 29, 1955 – January 14, 2017

It is with great sadness the family of the late Stanley Lawrence announces his sudden passing at his residence on January 14 at the age of 61 years. Stan was the son of the late Wallace and Lucy (nee Savery) Lawrence. He was predeceased by his brothers Les and Godfrey, sisters Violet and Sara and brother-in-law Jim Patey. He leaves to mourn with many fond and loving memories his brothers and sisters George (Cora) Lawrence, Laura (Jim) Drake, Tom (Pauline) Lawrence, and Kay Lawrence all of Port aux Basques, Sadie Vatcher British Colombia, Albie Lawrence, Jeannie (David) Anderson all of Port aux Basques, Maggie Patey Prince Edward Island and Graham (Angela) Lawrence Port aux Basques, special nieces and nephews Michael, Jonathan and Amy, Godchild Robert Lawrence, special friends Richard Parsons, Ben Savoury, Morgan Lillington, and Diane Lawrence, plus a large circle of nieces, nephews and many friends. Visitation took place on Sunday and Monday, January 15 and 16; from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. from East Haven Funeral Home Inc. Funeral services took place on Tuesday, January 17, 2 p.m., at St. James Anglican Church with Rev. Marlene Harvey officiating. Interment followed at Salvation Army Cemetery, Port aux Basques. Flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the family.
