It is with great sadness that the family of the late ALMETA KEEPING of Grand Bank announces her passing at the Blue Crest Home in Grand Bank on Sunday, December 18th, 2016, at the age of 99. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Sons, Ron Keeping and Carl Keeping of Grand Bank; Daughters, Sue Dodge of Dartmouth, NS; Anita (Art) Barker of Toronto, ON; Linda (Norm) Jennings of Dartmouth, NS; Sisters, Anna Brushett of Antigonish, NS; Laura Rideout of Frenchman's Cove, NL; Brother, Alex Follett of Antigonish, NS; 5 Grandchildren; 3 Great-Grandchildren; plus a large circle of family and friends. She was predeceased by Husband, Heber Keeping; Sons, Aubrey Keeping and Heber Keeping Jr.; Parents, Susie Cluett and Alex Follett; Brothers, Aubrey Follett and Merrill Follett; Sister, Esther Dicks.
The funeral service took place at The Salvation Army Citadel in Grand Bank on Wednesday, December 21st, at 2pm. Interment followed at The Salvation Army Cemetery in Grand Bank.
