Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Wednesday, January 18, 2017, of John Rankin, of Summerside, aged 76 years. Born in Summerside, he was the son of the late Brenton and Margaret (Cameron) Rankin. Survived by his wife Bertha (Gordon) Rankin; daughter Lisa (Bill) Williams; son Robbie (Jennifer) Rankin; grandchildren Jordan (Jenna), Brandon (Melissa Dunn), Paige, Matt and Aiden; great-grandson Oliver; nieces Wendy and Charla; and by a nephew Stephen. Predeceased by a daughter Meghan. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Sunday, then to Trinity United Church, Summerside, where funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Interment later in Peoples Cemetery, Summerside.
