Beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather (Noah) Bert Butler Of Bauline passed away peacefully at the Heath Science Centre on Saturday, January 21st at the age of 87 years. Leaving behind his loving wife of 61 years Laura, two sons Robert and Terry, one daughter Kim and her husband Brian and two grandchildren Rebecca and Noah Janes who he adored and cherished. Also leaving to mourn a large number of nieces and nephews, relatives and friends who thought the world of him. Bert owned and drove his own buses for over 30 years where he made many friends young and old. He always had a joke or story to tell, even to the lovely nurses and doctors at the hospital. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road. Visitation on Monday and Tuesday 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service to take place at 2 pm from Bauline United Church on Wednesday, January 25th. Followed by interment at Bauline United Church Cemetery, Pouch Cove Line. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bert's memory may be made to the Bauline United Church Building Fund.
