Passed peacefully away at the Palliative Care Unit of the Dr. L. A. Miller Centre on Saturday, January 21st, 2017 at age 87. Predeceased by his parents: Rev. Henry and Bernice Price and brother Ted. Leaving to mourn his beloved wife of 62 years Lillian (nee Hutchings); loving daughter Gail (Walter O'Brien); cherished grand-daughters: Leah and Katie Vardy; his brother-in-law Alex Hutchings (Wendy), Orillia, ON; sisters-in-law: Violet Hutchings, St. John's and Margaret Hutchings, Alberta; as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Tuesday, January 24th from 10 am. - 9 pm. Funeral service to take place at Barrett's Chapel on Wednesday, January 25th at 11 am. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory made be made to St. James United Church or a charity of one's choice.
