Passed Peacefully away after a short illness at Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre on Friday, January 20th, 2017 Helen Abbott of Burin Bay Arm at the age of 68 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories husband Fred; son Dale (Sandra) of Northern ON; brother Eli (Emma) of Fort Saskatchewan, AB; sisters Pearl Stapleton (John) of Marystown, Evelyn Abbott (Austin) of Muddy Hole, Alice Abbott (Cyril) of Roaches Line, Viola Benson (Raymond) of Little Hearts Ease, Lillian Wall (Ray) of Mount Carmel, Elaine Hollett (Lewis) of Lewin's Cove; brothers-in-law Pryniece Ceasear (Mary) of Mass, George Abbott (Mary) of Port au Bras, Bruce Abbott (Rita) of Mortier, Bill Abbott (Bernadine) of Marystown; sisters-in-law Eleanor Locke (David) of Muddy Hole, Roberta Brenton of Muddy Hole,; special niece Joanne Hartson (Paul) of Burin Bay Arm and special great-nephew Dylan Hartson and special great niece Paula Hartson of Burin Bay Arm also a large circle of other family and friends.
Predeceased by parents Ernest & Hazel Green, sister Rebecca Hodder; parents-in-law Curtis and Greta Abbott; brothers-in-law Brian Abbott and David Brenton.
Rev. Robert Peddle officiated Funeral service from St. Andrew's Anglican Church, Port au Bras on Monday, January 23, 2017 with in keeping with Helen wishes cremation has taken place.
Pall Bearers were Raelene Hodder-Pike, Joanne Hartson, Belinda Legge, Emily Hodder, Melvina Adams, Marion Cross.
Honorary Pall Bearer was Paula Hartson.
