PARRSBORO – Stanley L. Dowe, age 52, of Parrsboro passed away suddenly on Friday, January 13, 2017 at his home.
Born in Parrsboro, he was a son of the late Lorne and Lola (Dow) Dowe.
He was licensed mechanic and welder operating Dowe’s Garage in Parrsboro since 1985.
He was a dedicated member of the Parrsboro Fire Department.
He is survived by his wife, the former Ann Armsworthy; his daughter, Ashley, at home; numerous cousins.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. on Friday, January 20, 2017 at Smith’s Funeral Home, Parrsboro, Pastor Douglas Lake officiating. Burial in the Parrsboro United Cemetery at a later date. Reception to follow in the St. George’s Anglican Church Hall, Parrsboro.
