Peacefully at the Beach Grove Home on Sunday, January 22nd, 2017, under exemplary and gentle care of the Meadow staff team and with his immediate family and siblings keeping vigil during his last days, Ansel Victor Ferguson of Hampton, age 83 years went to his eternal home. Beloved husband of Marlene (Hughes) Ferguson. Dear father and best friend of Eleanor Ferguson. "Worlds greatest Poppy" to MataLiza Vafiades-Ferguson and Adam Ferguson McNeal. Also survived by brothers and sisters James (Jenny), George (Catherine), Norma June Ferguson, Elizabeth (Preston) Campbell and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Victor and Eliza Ferguson, daughter Linda Belle Ferguson, and brother Malcolm Ross Ferguson in infancy. Resting at the Dawson Funeral Home, Crapaud, with visitation on Wednesday, January 25th, 2017, 3 - 6 p.m. Funeral service from the Dawson Funeral Home, Thursday at 11 a.m. If so desired memorial donations to Crapaud People's Cemetery or Beach Grove Meadow Staff Fund would be appreciated.
