‘CHEF DANO’
It is with deep sadness that we are saying goodbye to our brother and friend. Danny passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at the age of 62 years at the Golden Hill, Herb Bassett Nursing Home in Prince Albert, SK. Chef Dano was a well-respected chef who worked in various restaurants across SK and BC including “David’s” in Saskatoon and the Hawood Inn in Waskesiu. His greatest passion was his own successful restaurant ‘Chef Dano’s’ in Prince Albert, SK. Danny will be sadly missed and forever loved by his brothers Ryan and Freddie; his sister Cindy; niece Alex; nephew Michael; brother-in-law Garth; best friends Jenny, Michelle, Claudia and the multitude of friends he grew up with. He was predeceased by his parents Kathleen and Fred and his youngest brother Allan. Daniel was born on August 13, 1954 at the St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon, SK. Family and friends wishing to pay their last respects may do so from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, January 27 from River Park Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 28 from River Park Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Margaret Ferchuk will officiate. It is the family’s request that those wishing to place memorials may do so to the Golden Hill, Herb Bassett Nursing Home. The family would like to thank the staff at the Golden Hill, Herb Bassett Nursing Home for the excellent care given to Danny.
