Stephen Aucoin
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Stephen Aucoin on Tuesday, January 24 at Victoria Haven Nursing Home, surrounded by his loving family. He was a very hard and dedicated worker and enjoyed a very large cup of tea. He was also an avid card player with his family.
Stephen is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Gladys (Quann); his only son, Stephen (Shelley), Spruce Grove, (Grand Cache) AB; grandsons, Stephen and Scott; siblings, Mary Roy-Bremner, Carmel Wadden, Lorraine (Tom) Rogers, Statia (Garfield) White and Jerry. He was predeceased by his parents, James and Mercedes (Colombe) Aucoin and siblings, Pearl, Caroline, Sonny, Franky, Danny and Jude. There will be no visitation by request. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 27, at Holy Cross Church with Fr Norman MacPhee officiating. The interment will be at St Anthony’s Cemetery, at a later date.
