January 21st, 2017 Margaret Grace Taylor MacLeod, of Sherwood, Prince Edward Island, passed away peacefully in Uintah, Utah in her 90th year. “Peggy” was a loving wife, devoted mother and sister, cherished grandmother and great-grandmother. She was born in Strathcona, Prince Edward Island on November 28th, 1927 to Olive and William Taylor, the third of six children. She married the late Allan Daniel MacLeod December 4th, 1943. Together they had seven children whose lives were spent growing up in Niagara on the Lake, Ontario and Sherwood, P.E.I.Mom had a great love of travel whether it was here at home on “her” island or visiting family from “away”. She loved auctions, yard sales and treasure hunting and sharing her finds with all. Her daily journals and scrapbooks were filled with memories of family, friends and acquaintances. Even a poem or drawings of her own were often found tucked inside. Visits to and from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were filled with love, smiles and laughter. These cherished memories will never be forgotten. Her greatest joy was to be surrounded by her loved ones and her presence alone could mend a broken heart or calm a worried mind.
