With broken hearts we say goodbye to Jessie, 34, our beautiful daughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend. Jessie passed away in the An Cala unit at the C.B. Regional Hospital on February 4, 2017. Born on December 5, 1982, she was the daughter of Cameron MacNeil and Kathy Gouthro and sister of John. She is survived by a large extended family who loved her
dearly. Jessie was predeceased by her grandparents, Johnny (Hector) and Gert MacNeil and Matthias and Kay Gouthro.
From her time growing up in Sydney to her studies in Halifax, and finally a server all across Canada, Jessie's insight, compassion and warmth made her friends wherever she went. As an excellent judge of character, she was able to find the best kind of people,creating lasting friendships. To know Jessie truly was to love her. The MacNeil family will be receiving visitors Friday, February 10, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the TJ Tracey Funeral Home 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay, 902-849-4199.
