Blair Gordon ELLIOTT

Blair Elliott passed away at the Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert, SK on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at the age of 63 years. He was born on December 31, 1953 in Prince Albert, SK to Margaret and Charles Elliott. Blair is survived by his wife Marilynn; his children Heather (Derin) Carter, Jessica (Kerry) Griffin, Bryce (Michael Amouri) Elliott, Kimberly (Amy Heal) Elliott and their mother Florence (Robert) Hannah and his Step-son Joseph (Elza) Schulz; grandchildren Emmett, Miren Carter and Benjamin, Gabrielle, Jillian Griffin; his brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents M.E. Betty and Charlie Elliott. Blair would want to be remembered for his woodwork, which adorns many churches, homes and toy boxes and for his love of repurposing many old items to new. Blair passed his appreciation for the warmth and natural beauty of wood to all his children. His smile was always warm and inviting. His faith was strong and although his illness with cancer was long and a struggle, he always thought of his family and kept them as his first priority. Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2017. Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 9, 2017. Both services will be held at the First Baptist Church, 1351 – 28th Street East, Prince Albert, SK. Please feel comfortable wearing jeans to the service as that was what he was most comfortable in.
