1927-2017
Beverly Joyce Thomas, 90, of Springhill, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Feb 4, 2017 at High Crest Nursing Home. Born in Springhill, she was a daughter of the late James M. and Mary M. (Harrison) Brennan.
She was a member of St. David's Presbyterian Church, Springhill; member of Springhill Senior Citizens and a life member of the Royal Canadian Legion Auxiliary. Bev enjoyed dancing, bowling, playing cards, travelling, her cottage and family.
Beverly will be sadly missed by son, Danny Reynolds, Edson, AB; daughter, Brenda (Bob Miller) Boran, Bible Hill, NS; a daughter-in-law, Claire Reynolds, Halifax; son-in-law, Barry S. Corbett, Pt Charlotte, FL; step-sons, Garth Thomas Jr., Edmonton and Lyndon (Dorothy) Thomas, Pugwash; four grandchildren, Kari (Chuck) Morse, Sandwich, MA, Amy (Brennan Gillis) MacDonald, Valley, NS, Kyle (Andonia) Reynolds, Golden, BC, Kaylan (Alex MacDonald) Reynolds, Toronto; six great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Wesley Frederick Reynolds and by her second husband, Garth Eugene Thomas; an infant son, Frederick Wesley Reynolds; an infant grandson, Wesley Douglas Reynolds; brothers, Harold, Edgar and Arthur; sisters, Bonnie Atkinson and Madge Paul and a son-in-law, William Boran.
Arrangements are under the care and supervision of A. H. Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane Street, Springhill, (902 597 2361). A Graveside Committal Service will be held in the Spring.
