of Carbonear passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, January 23, 2017. Mrs. Meaney was 71 years old. She leaves to mourn her loving family: husband: James (Jim) Meaney; children: James Jr., David (Karen), Susan (Phil), Paul & Sean (Paule); grandchildren: Cody, Gerri-Ann, Sarah, Travis, Jeremy, Emma & Noah; sisters: Barbara (Bern) Peddle, Elaine (Fred) Stone & Marion (Peter) Foley; brothers: Eric (Ruby) & David; sisters-in-law: Sadie Alcock, Mary McCoughan, Anna Hulan & Alice Dawalt and a large circle of family and friends. Predeceased by: parents: Leroy and Matilda Alcock; brother: Bert Alcock and sister-in-law: Angela O’Brien. Joining Sandra in her heavenly home, her brother, Douglas who she loved and cherished. The Funeral Mass took place on Friday, January 27, 2017 from St. Patrick’s R.C. Church. Interment followed at Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear.
