Stephen Rodney Howarth left this world on Tuesday February 14, 2017 at the QE11 in Halifax with his family by his side. Born in Yorkshire, England on June 3, 1947. Rodney came to Canada in 1986 and started his new life with Karen, Tracy and Tammie. He was a world traveller but loved Cape Breton best. Rodney drove long haul for various companies for 30 plus years, ending his career with 4 million miles and a perfect driving record.
Rodney is survived and will be greatly missed by his wife, Karen; special daughters, Tracy (Keith), Tammie (Steven), Sara (Kyle); son, Stephen and brother, Peter (England). Rodney was also blessed with nine grandchildren, Daniel, Jacob, Joleigh, Aiden, Jessica, Shaye, Kira, Keegan and Ashton who loved Papa (Rod) very much. He is predeceased by his parents, Tommy and Doris Howarth of (England). Celebration of Rod's life will be Sunday, February 19, 2017 at T.J.
