Of Carbonear passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at the Carbonear Long Term Care Facility on Monday, February 20, 2017. Mrs. Hogan was 78 years old. She leaves to mourn her loving family, husband Joseph Hogan, daughters Joanne Hogan and Mary (Kenneth) Shugarue, grandchildren Emily and Gregory Shugarue, brother Edward (Dorothy) Delaney, sisters-in-law Marian O'Leary, Patricia (Vic) Novacek, Rosemary Hogan, Peggy Hogan and Paula Hogan, brothers-in-law Steve (Shirley) Hogan, Bren (Pearl) Hogan and George (Carol) Hogan, and a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Predeceased by parents Martin and Mary Delaney, brothers Gregory (Ann) Delaney and James Delaney, parents-in-law David and Theresa Hogan, brothers-in-law Michael Hogan and Larry O'Leary. The family would like to take this time to say a special thank you to the staff on 4 North at the Carbonear Long Term Care Facility for their kindness and compassion. The funeral Mass will take place at St. Patrick's R.C. Church, Carbonear on Thursday, February 23, 2017, 10:30 A.M. The family will be receiving relatives and friends at SLADE'S FUNERAL HOME, POWELL DRIVE, CARBONEAR, between the hours of Tuesday, 7-9 p.m., Wednesday, 2-5 P.M. and 7-9 P.M. and Thursday, 9-10 A.M.
