The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Wednesday, February 22, 2017, of Myles Birch, of Summerside, aged 67 years. Born in Southwest Lot 16, he was the son of the late Arthur and Ruby (Baglole) Birch. Survived by his wife Florence (MacPherson) Birch; son Andy Birch (Meahgan Roberts); daughter Sarah Birch (Rob Atkinson); granddaughter Faeriel Birch; mother-in-law Louise MacPherson; sisters Gloria (Lorne) Gallant, Connie (John) Gallant, Millicent Hutchinson, Ruth Brault and Colleen Delzer; and by a sister-in-law Etta Burch. Predeceased by his brothers Lee, Harold, Arthur, Donnie and Perry; and by sisters Edna and Agnes. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, for visiting hours Friday from 6 – 9 p.m. Interment later in Peoples Cemetery, Summerside. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life for Myles, to be held at The Oval, second floor of Red Shores Raceway, 55 Greenwood Drive, Summerside, on Saturday, from 2-4 p.m. Memorial donations to the Salvation Army Food Bank or Generation XX would be appreciated. www.moase.ca
