It is with sad and heavy hearts that the family of James (Jimmy) Bambrick (Retired Stevedore) announce his passing at Pleasant View Towers. Jimmy is predeceased by the love of his life Irene (Jan. 2, 2013). Left with broken hearts and loving memories, his daughter Catherine and husband Glenn Wannamaker (who sat with Jim every evening for the duration of his illness); his daughter Alice and husband Mike Billard; the pride of his life his three grandchildren James (Sherie), Steven Wannamaker and Katie Billard; his precious great-grandson Isaac James Wannamaker; his brother John (Margie), who was not just a brother but his best friend; sister Anne Zaba (Joe, deceased) whom he loved dearly; special nieces Tina Horlick who kept him smiling everyday and Karen Dillon (Wayne); nephew Edward Bambrick (Jayne); brother-in-law and friend Leo Horlick (Shirley, deceased); as well as many other family members; also his life long friend and co-worker Harold Moore (Nellie) who was not just Jim's friend but part of his family; friends Jack McGrath and Mike Ryan. A very special thank you from the bottom of our hearts to the workers on 3NW at Pleasant View Towers who were not only Dad's caregivers but our family friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Thursday, March 2, 2017 from 2-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Friday, March 3, 2017 at 2 p.m. from Caul's Chapel. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Jimmy's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
