Frank Reynolds, 63, of Sydney, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 1, with his children by his side.
Frank was born in Inverness, NS, on February 24, 1954 to the late Elmer and Helen (Bonnar) Reynolds.
He spent much of his life working in staffing and payroll at St. Rita's and then the Cape Breton Regional Hospital and was an active union member of CUPE Local #2431. He retired in 2011. His generous and notoriously stubborn spirit will be deeply missed by friends and family.
Frank is survived by his children Ardelle (Mike) and Kyle; grandchildren Zander, Jax, Zadie, Shepard, and Felix; sister Judy; brother Bill (Estelle); and much loved nieces and nephew. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brother John Leslie.
Frank was fortunate to spend his last days in the care of the Palliative Care unit at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Donations in his memory may be made to the Hospice Palliative Care Society of Cape Breton.
Those who knew Frank are invited to raise a glass to him at Club 55 on Monday, March 6 between 6:30 and 9:00 pm.
