Cecil Rathwell of Moose Jaw passed away peacefully just shy of his 95th birthday. Cec was born and raised in Moose Jaw. Cec was deployed during WWII in the Armor Division. In 1946 he married his English war bride Kay. After the war Cec and Kay enjoyed the life of farming and raising their four children. Cec resided on the family farm northwest of Moose Jaw until the early 1990’s when they moved to Moose Jaw. He was an avid curler and member of the Royal Canadian Legion. Predeceased by his wife Kay; parents Victor and Jennie; brother Sam and sister in law Georgina; brother Russ and sister in law Joyce; sister Edna Jackson and brother in law Stan and an infant sister at her birth. Cec will be lovingly remembered by his children Victor (Barb) Rathwell, Donna (Pat) Morrison, Scott Rathwell and Jennie (Leon) Primor; numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday March 20, 2017 at 12:30PM at Rosedale Cemetery. For those wishing to attend meet at the gates for 12:15 PM. A time of fellowship will follow. Della Ferguson will officiate. For those so wishing memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association. In living memory of Cecil, a memorial planting will be made by W. J.
