The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Thursday, March 9, 2017, of Alista Etan, of Summerside, aged 69 years. Born in St. Lucia, West Indies, she is the daughter of Mary “Lucess” (Chambord) Etan and the late Frederick Etan. Survived by her brothers and sisters Frederica Paul, Reis Etan, Brein Etan, Daniel Ken Etan, Philina Etan, Pallas Etan, Andrew Eric Etan, Joan Pugh, Laura Etan, Michael Kesler Etan; by her “Island Family” Betty (Austin) Doucette, Donna Sonier, Janet (Michael) MacInnis, Susan (Tommy) Hudson, Junior (Hazel) Carver; and by her canine friend “Lulu”. Predeceased by a brother Francis Etan.
