Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, March 24, 2017, Mrs. Alice Mae Porter, aged 78 years of Port de Grave. Predeceased by parents William and Freda Goodwin (nee Burbine); sister Maryanne Sampson and brother-in-law Wallace Porter. Leaving to mourn her loving husband Herman Porter; daughter Shari Porter (Kip); sons: Jeff (Suzanne) and Mike Porter; sisters: Carol (Eddie) Marash, June Coulton, Donna (Cryril) Roache; brother Tom (Myrna) Burbine; grandchildren: Amy, Stephen, Christopher and Holly; brothers-in-law: Cliff Sampson, Gerald (Daphne), Hughie (Vida), Harris (Valene), Jim (Elaine); sisters-in-law: Carol (Eddie), June, Donna (Cryil), Tom (Myrna). Cremation has taken place by request. No flowers. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in her memory. Funeral arrangements at a later date. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 2 PM at St. Luke's Anglican Church, Port de Grave. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Moore's Funeral Home, Clarke's Beach.
