The death occurred at the Summerset Manor, Summerside, on Sunday, April 2, 2017, of Charles Reginald Compton, of Summerside, aged 68 years. Born in Summerside, he was the son of the late Reginald and Margaret (Todd) Compton. Survived by his children Gerald (Jane), Todd (Karen), and Christena (Scott MacDonald) Compton; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters Etta Burch, Doris (Bob) Petersen, Violet (Lloyd) Banks, Lea (Judy) Compton and Wayne (Anne) Compton. Predeceased by a son Duane Compton and brother-in-law Donnie Burch. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. Visiting hours Friday from 5 - 8 p.m. Interment later in St. John’s Anglican Church Cemetery, St. Eleanors.
