Passed peacefully away on April 15th, 2017 at Dr. Walter Templeman Hospital on Bell Island. George W. Parsons was born on October 17th, 1945. Predeceased by his parents George and Martha Parsons, two sisters Marion and Winfred. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of forty-nine years Mary Ann, his children: Geoffrey, George (Lisa), Sharon, James (Lisa), Wayne (Lisa), Kelly (Gary), Colin (Charlene), his very special granddaughter Kayla (John) and his special nephew Rick, twenty-one grandchildren, five great-grandchildren. Also leaving to mourn his four sisters Jean Parsons, Phyllis Clarke (Kevin), Margaret Delahaunty (Peter), Sandra Stone, two brothers Wayne Parsons (Mary), Terry Parsons. Also a large circle of family and friends including his moose buddies. Viewing to take place at Pendergast's Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 19th from 12-4 pm and 5-9 pm. Funeral taking place at St. Cyprian Church on Thursday, April 20th at 2 pm with cremation to follow. Inurnment to take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Cyprians Church.
