Born in Gimli, Manitoba, December 4, 1952 son of the late George and Dorothy (Godsoe) Thorne. Husband of Barbara (Champion) Thorne. Father of Chris Thorne (Natalie) and Todd Thorne (Nikki). Grandfather of 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Brother of Anthony Thorne. Predeceased by his sister Treva (Keith) Davison.
