Passed away suddenly, and peacefully, at the Health Sciences Center on Thursday, April 20, 2017, Herbert F. Reid. Predeceased by his parents Frederick and Myrtle Reid; wife Dorothy; mother-in-law Nellie Pittman. Leaving to cherish many wonderful memories are his daughters Faye and Karen; son-in-law Aron Kokje; grandson Grant; grand-daughter Kate; many cousins, nieces and nephews. He leaves to mourn numerous friends from Golden Arm Park; the CBC; Topsail Art Gallery; Middle Arm; C.L.B. Regimental Band; Wicklow Street; Mews' Accordian Group; Kinsmen Club; Royal Newfoundland Yacht Club and S.U.F. #41 Open Mic Group. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, a donation in memory of Herb may be made to a charity of one's choice. Visitation at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Sunday, April 23rd from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm with a celebration of Herb's life to be held at Barrett's Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, April 24th at 2 pm.
