It is with shattered hearts that we announce the passing of Dr. William Tiller while on vacation in Miami, Florida, on April 18th, 2017, at the age of 77. Bill was a radiologist at Grace General Hospital in St. John's and enjoyed travel, gardening, woodworking, building and flying model airplanes, fishing and spending time with his family. With cherished memories, he leaves behind his beloved wife Susan; his adored daughters Lesley (Alex) and Jennifer (Dan); grandchildren Megan, Kaitlyn, Colin, Caroline, Christopher and Ryan; father-in-law Gus; brothers and sisters-in-law Valerie (Steve), Sharon (David), Steve (Judi), Victor (Leslie), James, Linda (David) and all of their families, dear friends of the St. John's R.C. Flyers, plus a large circle of relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents William and Flora; his sister Frances; his nephew Bill and his first wife Valda. Funeral service to be held at Cochrane Street United Church on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 11am. A reception will follow at Bally Haly Country Club from 1-3 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the Newfoundland and Labrador Heart and Lung Association.
