Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Sunday, April 30, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Marie Jordan, aged 70 years was pre-deceased by her husband, James; parents, John and Maude Newell; brother, Fred and her parents-in-law, Maurice and Margaret Jordan. Marie leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her children, Dennis (Connie), Beverley, Tony (Shelley) and Sherri (Jason); her grandchildren who she adored, Sheena (Ronnie), Christopher, Cynthia, Lynn, Krystina, Samuel, Maggie, Emma and Benjamin; great-granddaughter Charlie; brothers and sisters, Margaret (Bernard), Beatrice, Phyllis (Doug), Gary (Maureen) and Esther (Neil); and her brothers and sisters-in-law, Inez, Eileen, Kevin (Betty) and Leo (Ruth). As well as a large circle of relatives and friends including many special friends from her involvement with the church, dart club, Lions Club and the Silver Threads group. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, Torbay. Visitation on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 10 am from St. Agnes Church in Pouch Cove with interment to follow at St. Agnes Roman Catholic Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Marie's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
