It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Landry of Baltimore at The Moncton Hospital, Saturday, April 29, 2017. Born in North Sydney, NS, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Bill and Kaye (Johnson) Brophy.
Elaine worked as a nurse at the Cape Breton and Moncton Hospital as a psychiatric nurse prior to her retirement.
She will be deeply missed by her husband, Reginald (Reg) Landry; daughter, Amanda Boisjoli (Paul) of Lower Sackville, NS; step-daughter, Kristin Landry (Albert) of Moncton; step-son, Michael Landry (Tina); brother, Ralston Brophy of Mulgrave; grandchildren, Morgan, Nathen, Caleb and Alyssa; several nieces and nephews; her nursing friends, Marge and Joyce, who were by her side until the end and her beloved cats, King Tut and Jessie James. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Johnson, Seward, Jerome, Russel and Winston.
A time of remembrance will take place at St. Lawrence Parish, Mulgrave NS, on May 13, 2017 at 1400hrs with the interment to take place at the St. Lawrence Parish Cemetery, Mulgrave, NS.
The arrangements are entrusted to Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview (869-2007).
