Alice Elizabeth (Betty) Pastuck, of Glace Bay passed away on Tuesday April 18, 2017 at Taigh Na Mara Nursing Home Glace Bay. Born in Glace Bay, Betty was the daughter of the late John (Jack) and Catherine (Walsh) Winstanley.
Betty left Glace Bay in the late 60’s, moving to ON and Australia then returned to Cape Breton in 2000.
She is survived by sons, John (Susan) Weyman of PEI, Bob (Jan) Pastuck of Australia; daughters, Camilla (Leo) Fraser of Glace Bay, Carol (George) Seeley of Australia, Wendy Pastuck of Toronto and Wanda (Danny)Lacroix of Brampton; a sister, Anna McAulay of PEI; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
Besides her parents Betty was predeceased by her husband, Tony; daughter, Patsy Parsons; a brother, Wayne Winstanley; sisters, Marg McGillivray and Gerry McPhee.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay, 902-849-4199.
A private family gravesite service will take place at a later date.
