Carmella Rose Morgan

Date de décès : 7 mai 2017

It is with heavy hearts that we, the family, announce the passing of our mother Carmella Rose Morgan on Sunday May 7, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Glace Bay she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Lucy (Kelly) Osborne.
To describe her as independent would be an understatement. Her perseverance and strength, no matter the situation made her a role model for our family. She was a caring person who always told you exactly what you needed to hear. We looked up to her, our rock.
In her younger years, she enjoyed skating and swimming. Then later in life she enjoyed camping, a good game of cards and traveling with her children on various road trips. She also enjoyed summertime visits from her long-time friend Marie. She always looked forward to having “family functions” sharing each other’s company and lots of good laughs.
Throughout her life she had always been active, she could be found everyday walking the Bayplex, where she again enjoyed good company and many laughs with her walking buddies.
She is survived by brother, Fabe; her children, Fabian (Melissa), James (Lesley), Theresa (Richard), John, Rose (Lloyd) and Marie (Danny), and grandchildren, Kevin (Vanessa), Kristen (Bryan), Christopher (Joanna), Derrick (Laura) and Caili.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Theresa; brothers, Pat, Shannon, Allie, Leroy and Joe, and granddaughter, Cst. Tara Morgan.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay, 902-849-4199.
A family graveside service will take place at a later date.
